I still don't know who our friend "amelluk" might have been...

When he suddenly decided that he'd been talking the whole time about a corporation rather than a school district, it was one of those times where I wished one could reach through the screen and commence choking someone. Whether he really was from a school district and then got embarrassed and later tried to pretend he was from a corporation, or whether he was from a corporation but wanted to make us think he was talking about a school, or whether he'd made the whole thing up just to be a troll...we'll never know. Nor do I really care. Anyone desperate enough to make his argument that he'll intentionally misquote the launch date of AppleWorks 6.0 by three years just so he can pretend that schools will need to buy copies of AW 6 for any Mac more than one year old? Worthless in my book. Every Mac user knows that AW 6 is nearly as old as the Kindergarteners are. There's no way you could get that wrong by accident.

For the record, I actually got a kick out of the part where he tried to kick me out of the meeting.

But in any case, our friend "amelluk" (probably unwittingly) managed to give away a significant portion of Wintel's evil plot to deprive our students of their Macs, and I've written about it today on Mac Using Educators:
