Bill Palmer goes apoplectic!
Educator iChat hits new high in low!
Who IS Amelluk?
If you missed the Educator Group iChat last night you missed a doozy! You don't want to tell Bill that the only real solution for technology in education is to go Windows... Or that it's cheaper to replace older Macs with Dell product than to update to OSX...
It's a bit funny that some people have to complain that Apple is constantly innovating and updating their software offerings. If the goal is to have school computers mirror home system environments, schools will have to make sure they are running XP on 3GHz Athlons! And watch out when Longhorn finally debuts! I doubt it will run on anything but the latest greatest Intel/Athlon offering--and if schools want to keep up with what people use at home they will need to start budgeting now so they will be able to replace their legacy Windows boxes! Of course, if they chose the Apple solution and moved to OSX this past school year they are already offering students a glimpse of what Longhorn will try to copy in about, 2007 ;-)
