Hi, I have just taken the plunge, dismantled my beloved old blueberry iBook, upgraded the hard drive, added 256MB of RAM and ugraded to Panther. Everything works fine except that the display is not very sharp in the Panther environment, making it difficult to see icons and text on a white background. I have tried everything, from changing the contrast/brightness etc (it actually works best in white on black, but this is not ideal). When I tried to calibrate the color it said that the factory profile for this display could not be found. The display is fine when I switch to the classic environment, does anyone know of a way to solve this problem?
