:\ I work in the Student Union at a Midwest University and we are a Campus Reseller. We use Macs in the store for obvious reasons, and sell Macs as well, except for two Windows machines we use. Our POS (Point of Sale) and ICS (Inventory Control Systems) is a DOS program. We use VPC to access it from the Macs. Anyway the rest of the Union is Windows and so is the server. The hard drive went south in December in the server. Since then they have replaced the hard drive, and it is back up and running with one small problem. The Windows machines can't see the Apple Laserwriter 16/600 we use for all our daily printing. Before the server drive died you could log into network places on the Windows machines and see all the printers in the Union and choose and print to any printer. Since the server came back up we can't see any printers. This is not a problem for our Macs as they just see the printer across the through ******alk. No setup necessary. Anyway the Techs in the building say if we could figure out what the IP address of the 16/600 is they could map it so the Windows machines could see it again. I have scoured the web through Google searches and the only thing I can find is one way you can set the IP address by teleneting in. Well, can't telnet in without an IP address. Anyone know how to print a test page out, or determine the IP address of the 16/600? Thanks, reply to the forum or email me at clscott@ksu.edu.

Thanks
Chris
It said Windows 95 or better on the box so I bought a Mac!
