hi
i recently was updating my ipod (pc formatted) when i accidently knocked the pod to the floor and the update process stalled and an error message came up on the computer screen. i closed the error box, dragged te files to the pod again and it all started copying the files again. i succesfully copied the files and unmounted the ipod properly.
a few minutes later i reconnected the ipod and the computer crashed instantly and upon restarting a blue screen appeared saying DRIVER_CORRUPTED_MMPOOL
when i tried to unmount the pod in safe mode the computer would continue to crash so i just unplugged the pod even though it told me not to.
It continues to crash every time i connect it now, and sometimes shows up in the system tray as a detachable drive, but not as an ipod. and i cannot access any drivers because the computer crashes before i can acces it in my computer.
it doesnt even appear in the itunes system tray either.
so i dont know what to do, because im not aware of any drivers for the ipod and it doesnt seem to be a itunes issue. and im pretty sure its not a hardware issue because the ipod plays fine as a mp3 player, i just cannot connect it to my computer to update it.
help would be much appreciated
